According to Mariahdaily.com, the premiere of Mariah's new track has been pushed back till 5th Feb! WHY? I was so looking foreward to it! This is what is said on mariahdaily.com:
At 3:30pm ET: KHOP 95-1 has just announced on air that Mariah's new single will not be played on the station tomorrow as announced earlier. Premiere has been pushed back a week to Tuesday, February 5th, apparently.

The 2008 NRJ Music Awards, one of France's most famous music Awards just took place at the Palais des Festivals de Cannes. Among these year's winners we have Britney Spears who won "Best International Album" for "Blackout", Justin Timberlake who got "Best International Male Artist" or Rihanna who won "Best International Song" for "DSTM". This last one was also among the performers of the night along with others like Mika and M.Pokora, French singer recently featured in the blog with his new single produced by Timbaland. I love it the vocals sound great. The second track is called "Toghether" which is also great! Can not wait to hear some more music from these guys! They are so talented! Their album, like Danity Kane, will be released in March. The boy's album will be released on 11th March, then DK's album will be released just one week after! We need to find out what these boys are called! Surley they have decided by now!

Toni fans listen up! Toni Braxton will be releasing a new album in the spring or summer of 08! The new album will be "classic, old-school, Toni's style". This was announced by Toni Braxton herself in a recent interview the show "Crossroads" (hosted by Sheletta Brundidge) did with her. CLICK HERE to watch the full interview. Reigning Americal Idol Jordin Sparks, along with R&B singer Chris Brown, shot this week the music video for her new single "No Air". The shoot took place on Wednesday, January 23rd and Chris Robinson (with Jordin and Chris in the top pic) was on charge of the directing the video. As i said on a recent post, "No Air" is already doing great on the charts, so if everything continues like this it may become her second Top 10 hit. The music video is set to premiere in February.

As you all know Missy Elliot has a new single out titled "Ching-A-Ling". This is going to be included on the "Step Up 2: The Streets" soundtrack, due in February 5th, and also it'll be the official lead single from Missy's new studio album due in May 2008. I am the biggest Danity Kane fan so I am so syched for their new album and am so happy to be hearing new tracks from them latley. Above is the final version of "Damaged" This version is so much better than the first. It has Diddys vocals in at the end :). The new album is set to be released on March 11th! Not long to go! Ahh so excited! The album will be called "Welcome To The Dollhouse" I love it, very original! So its now been officialy confirmed that Madonna's new single will be the Timbo-produced track "4 Minutes To Save The World" (Feat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland). I really can not wait to hear this track more clearly and in HQ. It sounds like it will be very HOT. We have recently learned information on the music video:
First, Madonna's stylist, who goes by the name of B., revealed to WWD.com at a Chanel show in Paris on Tuesday (January 22nd) that she had just wrapped up working on Madonna's next album cover, shot by Steven Klein, and that the next day she'd be heading to London to style a MUSIC VIDEO starring Madonna, J.T and Timbo. On the other hand, Justin recently called Ellen DeGerenes on her show to wish her a happy b'day and also confirmed the news about the videoclip shoot. CLICK HERE to watch it. This was on January 23rd. I think the video was shot yesterday (Wednesday) cause the stylist said the next day meaning January 23rd plus i think Ellen's show is taped and not live so that would explain the different dates.

Another new artist now. Let me introduce to you Asia Cruise. Some of you may already know her. She's HiTz Committee Records latest discovery. She started working on her debut album on early 2007 and in May that year the song "Selfish" leaked - which was later confirmed as her official first single. I really like this song I think its hot. Asia's label began then this mysterious type of promotion where they wouldn't reveal her real image/identity, they only released some pictures with her silhouette. This promo campaign was called "Who Is Asia Cruise?", and it lasted until...today! Asia has finally premiered the music video for her single "Selfish", revealing herself. I think that was a really cool kind of promotion! It definatley left me wanting to know who she was! Well deffo download this track and check out the video! Im feeling it.

It has been confirmed that Britney Spears will release the T-Pain-produced track "Hot As Ice" as her third single! Britney revealed the news first to X17Online's photogs over the weekend. She headed on Sunday night to the Millenium Dance Studio to prepare the choreography for the upcoming videoshoot! And now Robert Baker, the owner of the dance complex also confirms the news to People.com:
"She is working on the choreography for her song 'Hot as Ice,'" Baker said, "She rehearsed an amazing routine with a chair."
I am so happy Britney chose to release this song! It is deffo one of my fave's from 'Blackout'. Although I think all the tracks deserve to be single's, I want Toy Soldier, Radar, Break The Ice and Get Naked (I Got A Plan) to be singles aswel. Lol :D

Some very VERY exciting news now! It has now been confirmed that Janet Jackson will perform at the Grammy Awards on February 10th! This has been just confirmed by dancer, Blake McGrath, in a recent interview with MTV Canada's "e2" show. CLICK HERE to watch the interview. I can tell this is going to be a outstanding performance! The trio 'Atomic Kitten' split up in 2004 after having many smash hits including "Whole Again", "The Tide Is High" and "Ladies Night". The girls are set return to the music scene with a cover of the Dionne Warwick's hit "Anyone Who Had a Heart". They recorded this for Liverpool's "The Number One Project" event. We have recently learnt that the video for Jennifer Lopez's third single "Brave" Was shot last year by director Michael Haussman (J.Lo's "Que Hiciste" / Shakira's "La Tortura"). Cant wait to see the video for this. I love the song Brave so I cant wait to see the video. In her personal life, Jennifer held a babyshower on Saturday at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City. Rumours have it J.Lo is expecting twins! Exciting stuff in her personal life and musical career!

As you may already know Kelly Rowland is planning a re-release of her Sophmore album "Ms. Kelly" It has been recently announced on BBC's Radio 1 that the re-release of the sophomore solo album "Ms. Kelly" , will hit stores on March 10th! Thats very exciting! I love this album so i am very happy that there will new tracks on the re-release! Hopefully the album will be more succesful this time around.
